Notice we said it is the way to INTRODUCE yourself. That is where a lot of people miss the proverbial boat.

The majority of people and businesses misuse social media by trying to sell things to their online friends and connections. Therefore they never reap the rewards that come with being able to connect regularly with thousands and thousands of people.

Contrary to what most people think, social media is not about sales.

Social media is all about connecting with people. It is about reaching out and shaking cyberhands with individuals. It is about joining and carrying on ongoing conversations that will touch people in some positive way. Social media is all about getting to know people and allowing them to truly get to know you.

They will talk about you. They will recommend you to others.

Yes, social media is truly the BIGGEST bullet a business owner can have in their marketing holster.

But you have to earn your bullet first.
